How To Get Free Images For Your Blog And Social Media Posts

Canva

Content created with visuals is more engaging and appealing to the audience. They are also more interesting than just a text.

Some people get enough information about a product/service from the image accompanying it.

Tweets with images, can receive up to 5x times the engagement of those without. Articles with visuals receive 94 percent more views.

But, as much as it is important to add these visuals, it is equally important to not use any image you get from google: a mistake many marketers and business owners make. This can lead to serious legal consequences arising from copyright issues.

Every time you use an image from google, make sure to credit the source. You cannot edit these images nor use them as your own.

You can however get FREE to use images from the following sites:

Canva is the largest platform where you can not only find FREE images for use, but get free templates for your social media use.

You can find great images to use while marketing your products/services as well as upload your own images and edit them.

The advantage with Canva is that you don't need to be a design expert and if at any point you want to learn, they have a design school which is absolutely FREE.

All you have to do is visit the website, search for image you want and choose the one you like!.

Pexels is similar to Pixabay, and here you will find images that will work best for your brand.

Search for an image, choose and download.

Creative Commons

You can actually get FREE images from google, but there's a way to get them. You see when you search for an image, the results you get are not free to use, rather you must get a license to use by buying the image. You can however, navigate to the creative commons sections and get the FREE images.

"Creative Commons is a system that allows you to legally use “some rights reserved” music, movies, images, and other content — all for free. CC offers free copyright licenses that anyone can use to mark their creative work with the freedoms they want it to carry- creativecommons.org.

How To Find Creative Commons On Google.
