Getting clients online is usually equated to almost impossible or extremely difficult. But, this does not have to be case especially after you implement the following strategies.
I successfully started my business online back in 2020 when the Covid-19 Pandemic was new and many people had lost their jobs and businesses closed down. Here are great strategies that helped me get clients online.
- Use LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a power-house! Full of decision makers and business owners. LinkedIn can successfully serve as your portfolio and share what it is you do. It is possible to connect with business owners directly and drive people to view your profile. Share value packed content that solves your clients needs and you will be on your way to signing more clients.

2. Use Facebook groups

Facebook groups are a wonderful way of speaking to your target audience. By using the search function, you can find groups that have your target audience. Eg if you are a social media marketer, you can search for groups for entrepreneurs.
Choose at least 2 groups and start posting value added content.
3. Cold emailing

Pitching to companies that need your services is a great way to get clients! Do not be afraid of reaching out. You can use a simple email that addresses their problem and offers to help them.

4. Cold calling
This is another great way to score new clients! Many shy away from fear of being rejected, but I always ask myself “ the worst thing the receiver can say to me is no, which is fine”
Once you have an idea of who you want to work with, get their numbers(you can easily google this) and give them a call. Remember to address a problem they have, and offer to help them solve it.
5. Network Communities
These are communities that have a concentration of different professionals in different fields. They host events, webinars and conferences which pose as a wonderful way to meet new potential clients.

6. Online Forums

Online forums also have a concentration of potential clients. They are great because they are niche specific. Eg if you are a health coach, you can search for a forum that talks about weight loss. All you have to do to get a forum is to search

7. Use Digital Marketing

Digital marketing goes beyond the use of social platforms to market your business. Other wonderful digital marketing ways include:
a) Search Engine Optimization- use of relevant keywords to rank on google
There are quite a few ways that you can use digital marketing to get clients online and this course will help you with your digital marketing needs.
8. Use your website
A website is a home to your business. This is where visitors get a glimpse of what you offer, testimonials of what you have done all under one roof. Your website can be optimized for the web via SEO which will bring traffic to your website and ultimately land you new clients.
